The news quiz show hosted by Peter Sagal is one of NPR’s most popular programs, with nearly 3.5 million listeners tuning in each week on 600 member stations nationwide. The show will record at 8 p.m. Nov. 21 at the 1,700-seat theater on Main Street.
Ticket information has not been released, but station manager Anthony Hunt said that members of WVPE 88.1 will get first dibs on tickets to the event. The local station started its spring membership campaign on Wednesday, March 13.
“We are hopeful that this news will give us a boost to reach our goal of $130,000,” Hunt said, adding that the membership drive ends Tuesday, March 19.
