Anonymous tip leads to meth arrest in LaGrange County
Steven Wade Hudson, 32, was wanted for charges of dealing methamphetamine, a Class A felony, in LaGrange County and for battery, a Class A misdemeanor, in Noble County.
Officers from ISP, ISP’s Anti-Crime Enforcement Team and Meth Suppression Section went to a residence in the 7700 block of E. 750 N. in rural Howe around 2 p.m. Thursday. The homeowner and a female friend told police that Hudson was expected to return home soon. The police waited out of sight. When Hudson returned just before 3 p.m., he was arrested.
According to the officers, Hudson possessed two grams of meth when he was arrested. Precursors and paraphernalia were also found inside the residence.
Hudson was taken to the LaGrange County Jail, where he is being held without bond.
The case involving the homeowner and his friend is under review.
