Prince Among Slaves is a historical documentary about Abd al-Rahman Ibrahima Ibn Sori, a West African Prince who was sold into slavery in 1788, eventually ending up in Natchez, Mississippi. His story eventually made him the most famous African in America at the time. The film is based on Terry Alford’s book, “Prince Among Slaves”.
