INDIANAPOLIS — Wawasee’s KiLee Knafel, Marian’s Kaitlin Barnard and the Penn pair of Olivia Carlton and Taylor Lutz are each among individuals named this week as part of Hoosier Basketball Magazine’s Top 60 senior girls basketball players statewide.

Statistical evaluation, game observation and statewide research were conducted to determine the Top 60, according to HBM.

Two sessions of the 32nd annual Top 60 Senior Workout will be hosted by HBM in conjunction with the IHSAA and the Indiana Basketball Coaches Association on Sunday, March 10 at Marian University. The first session, from 1 to 3 p.m., will feature 28 girls primarily from northern and southern Indiana. The remaining 32 girls, primarily from central Indiana, will compete from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. Both sessions are open to the public. Admission is $7.

The Top 60 selections include 16 players who have committed to play at in-state Division I colleges, among them Notre Dame-bound Taya Reimer of Hamilton Southeastern.

The workouts are one of the elements used to help determine the Indiana All-Stars.
