MIDDLEBURY — Northridge eighth-graders raised more than $10,800 for Riley Hospital for Children through their second annual dance marathon.

Last Friday, March 1, more than 190 Northridge eighth-graders came out to the school’s dance, which also included food, games and listening to Riley patients’ stories.

Through corporate donations from Lippert Components, IU Health and Kerry’s Kids, and student-raised sponsorships, the school raised more than $10,800 for Riley, according to Judith Mantyla, a Northridge Middle School teacher and student council advisor.

Top student fundraisers were Gabby Arnold with $940 and Katy Pluimer with $510.
