GOSHEN — Emily Mishler, a 20-year-old Goshen native, was crowned Miss Elkhart County 2013 during a dual pageant at the Goshen Theater Saturday, March 2, in which Natalie Hostetler, 17, a junior at NorthWood High School was also crowned Miss Elkhart County Outstanding Teen.

The two young women will advance to Miss Indiana and Miss Indiana Outstanding Teen events this summer in Zionsville, a precursor to Miss America and Miss America’s Outstanding Teen pageants.

Mishler, who is a junior at Purdue University studying communications and apparel design, gave a rousing vocal performance of “Someone Like You” from the musical “Jekyll and Hyde.”

Chloe Anagnos, 20, a sophomore at Ball State from Elkhart, was named first runner-up, and Julianne Whyte, 17, a senior at Central, was named second runner-up.

Morgan Kerrn, 17, a junior at Jimtown, was named first runner-up in Miss Elkhart County Outstanding Teen.
