MITCHELL — Larry Lane Torrance, 75, formerly of Goshen, died Jan. 9, 2013, unexpectedly of natural causes in his home.

He was born Feb. 28, 1937, to Fredrick M. and Fanny L. (Duncan) Torrance in Goshen.

He is survived by two stepsons and a sister, Marsha (Ronald) Nelson of Goshen.

Larry was a meat cutter for ESI Meats, Bristol, before retiring to Mitchell. He served with the U.S. Air Force from 1954 to 1958.

His body was cremated. The burial of his cremated remains will be Wednesday, March 13, 2013, in Mitchell.
