GOSHEN — One person was taken to Elkhart General Hospital after a two-vehicle accident just west of the Goshen city limits on Friday afternoon, March 1.

At 3:38 p.m., Chad Young, 23, of Goshen, was driving southbound on C.R. 17 and turned east onto C.R. 28 into the path of a vehicle driven by Lenore Stump, 48, of Goshen.

Stump’s vehicle collided with the rear passenger side of Young’s vehicle.

Stump was transported to the hospital with complaints of pain in both legs.

Young and two passengers in his vehicle, Donna Thomas, 23, and Peighton Young, 18 months, suffered minor injuries.

Chad Young was cited for failure to yield the right of way and driving with a suspended license.
