Meeting: Bristol Town Council work session

When: Tuesday, Feb. 19

Key action: Heard that the town attorney and the county attorney have agreed on language for a proposed interlocal agreement between the county and Bristol to fund a new road, called Industrial Drive, that will connect S.R. 15 and the Earthway Industrial Park.

Other actions:

• Heard that town workers want to have a flow study done on the water line to Earthway Drive to determine why water pressure is down to Kem Krest. Town workers have been unable to locate the problem and want to have Peerless do a flow study at a maximum cost of $11,000.

• Heard that locations near electrical transformers have been chosen for the two tornado sirens that will be installed in the spring.

• Heard that an automated time-keeping system could be set up for town employees, making time-keeping simpler and more accurate. The initial set-up fee would be $750 with B4 Time Attendance Solutions.
