ELKHART — Premiere Arts is hosting auditions for Little Women, a play based on Louisa May Alcott’s novel about growing up in Civil War America.

Auditions are at 6 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, or at 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2,at the Lerner Theatre. Those auditioning are asked to bring a list of conflicts through April 28 and enter through the Premier Arts Franklin Street entrance, near the loading/truck dock, and follow the yellow line to the audition area. Audition materials will be taught at audition.

The cast includes 10 men ages 16 to 60 and 10 women ages 14 to 60. The production is a direct scheduling conflict with Premier Arts’ production of Sleeping Beauty, so actors and actresses must choose which to audition for.

Little Women will show at 9 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. April 26, 7:30 p.m. April 27 and 3 p.m. April 28 at the Lerner Theatre in downtown Elkhart.
