GOSHEN — Three employees from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department will be headed to a conference in Wisconsin that will address sexual abuse of inmates.

Sheriff Brad Rogers said the employees — Greg Eash, Tina Keim and John Perry — will receive training at a conference in March related to the Prison Rape Elimination Act, a federal law regarding sexual assault of prisoners. The county commissioners approved expenses for the trip Monday, Feb. 18, totaling $1,030 for the three employees.
