MIDDLEBURY — Water service has been shut off to the areas of West Wayne Street, Twin Oaks subdivision and all of Highland Hills this morning, Sunday, Feb. 17 due to a water main break at 800 W. Wayne St.

After the problem has been fixed and service has been restored, the affected areas will be under a boil advisory until further notice. A recording on the Middlebury Water Department’s phone service recommends boiling water for five minutes.

As of 11 a.m. service is still out for the affected areas.
