Sept. 6, 1927 - Feb. 15, 2013

GOSHEN — Lois E. Stouder, 85, of Goshen and formerly of New Paris, died at 5 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, at Miller’s Merry Manor, LaGrange.

She was born Sept. 6, 1927, in Elkhart County to Guy A. and Mina (Willard) Lantz.

She married Eugene Stouder on June 2, 1946 in New Paris.

Surviving are her husband, Eugene; daughter Connie (Kevin) Ritchie of Edwardsburg, Mich.; son Dennis E. (Cathy) Stouder of Elkhart; brother George Lantz of Milford; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Preceding her in death were her parents; sisters Helen Whitehead, Lucille Sherman and Mildred Coy; and brother Donald Lantz.

Lois retired from Johnson Controls, where she worked for more than 20 years. She was a member of Bible Baptist Church, Wakarusa.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, where the service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013. Pastor David Harper will officiate. Burial will be in New Paris Cemetery.
