SOUTH BEND —South Bend St. Joseph’s took the lead for good with under five minutes to play and went on to defeat Central 76-69 in Northern Indiana Conference boys basketball action on Friday, Feb. 15.

The Blue Blazers led 50-46 entering the fourth quarter, but were outscored 30-19 in the final stanza.

Terell Street led Central with 18 points while Blake Brouwer added 12. The Blue Blazers hit 12 3-pointers on the night, including four each by Brouwer and Street.

Mathew Monserez and Ryan Wobbe each scored 16 points for St. Joseph while Ryan Brown added 14.
