MIDDLEBURY — Corinne Cominator and Mandy Campbell, Northridge High School seniors, have both signed to continue their academic and track and field careers at the NCAA Division I level.

Cominator is bound for Indiana University, while Campbell is going to IUPUI.

Cominator is the Northridge school record holder in both the 1600 (4:57.62, ranked No. 37 all-time in Indiana prep history) and 3200 (10:39.88, ranked No. 15 all-time). She also has a personal-best time of 2:18.34 in the 800.

She is a two-time all-Northern Lakes Conference honoree, three-time state qualifier (3200 relay in 2010, 1600 and 3200 in 2012) as well as a 800 sectional champion in 2011, NLC and sectional runner-up in both the 1600 and 3200 in 2012.

The 2012 team MVP was third in the state in the 1600 and fourth in the 3200 outdoors and eighth in the 3200 indoors.

In cross country, she has a personal best of 18:32 for 5,000 meters and is two-time all-NLC, one-time all-NLC honorable mention and a 2011 team MVP.

Heading into her senior track season, Campbell owns personal-best clockings of 50.34 seconds in the 300 hurdles, 1:04 in the 400, 2:24 in the 800, 5:39 in the 1600 and 12:21 in the 3200. She was part of the Raiders’ sectional-winning and state-qualifying 3200 relay team. Last fall in cross country, she was an all-NLC performer and has a personal best of 19:40 for 5,000 meters.

Josh Fletcher is the Northridge track coach while Ryan McClane serves as cross country coach.
