OCONTO, Wis. — Kenneth G. Ernsberger, 89, of Oconto, formerly of Elkhart, Ind., passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.

He was born July 15, 1923, to the late Howard and Ruth (Leonard) Ernsberger.

He is survived by one son, Kenneth Ernsberger II; sisters Ruth Stoner and Mary Simper; daughter-in-law Kay; three grandchildren; and 7 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes; son Michael I; grandson Michael II; seven brothers and sisters; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a plumber all his life until he was forced to retire due to illness.

He served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

His service and burial were Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, in Oconto.
