Two vehicles crash on C.R. 17

The crash occurred at 11:28 a.m. when Betty Stuart, driving her car south on C.R. 17, attempted to turn left onto C.R. 18 and was struck by an SUV driven by Barbara Brumbaugh heading north on C.R. 17, the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department reported in a news release.
Both vehicles came to rest on the northeast corner of the intersection.
Stuart was cited for failure to yield the right of way.
Both women were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash and suffered minor injuries.
