Goshen College presents ‘An Evening of Opera’ Sunday

GOSHEN — Goshen College choirs will perform “An Evening of Opera” for their Winter Choral Concert on Sunday.

The Goshen College Chorale, Men’s Chorus and Women’s World Music Choir will perform, along with the Fairfield High School Concert Choir directed by Ben Kambs and Allison Yoder, lyric soprano and 2011 GC graduate. The Goshen College choirs are directed by Debra Brubaker, professor of music, and Scott Hochstetler, associate professor of music.

The choirs will perform scenes from operas by Giuseppi Verdi, Jacques Offenbach, Gilbert and Sullivan and more. Christine Lerson Seitz and Chara Sonntag will accompany the scenes on piano.

Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for seniors and students. Goshen College faculty, staff and students will be admitted free with a valid ID. Tickets will be available at the door one hour prior to the concert.
