SOUTH BEND — REAL Services is accepting nominations for the 17th annual Age of Excellence Awards Luncheon, set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 16 at Century Center, 120 S. St. Joseph Street. National singer/song writer Amy Grant will give the keynote address. Age of Excellence acknowledges individuals who support older adults or disabled individuals through acts of kindness, compassion and selflessness. Community members may submit award nominations for the following categories: Business of the Year; Caregiver of the Year for an Older Adult (60+); Caregiver of the Year for the Disabled (under 60); Education Award; Hoosier Lifetime Award (over 60); Professional of the Year; Kimble Volunteer of the Year (over 60); Volunteer of the Year (under 60); and Volunteer Group of the Year.
