Learn to make homemade maple syrup at Bonneyville Mill County Park

The Elkhart County Parks is hosting ‘Backyard Maple Syrup Making’ Saturday, Feb. 23, at the Baldwin Schoolhouse in Bonneyville Mill County Park.

The program goes from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Participants will learn how to use a single maple tree to make syrup. A breakfast of pancakes, maple syrup, sausage and drinks will also be provided.

The program is $3.50 per person with breakfast or $1 per person without breakfast. Backyard Sugarin’ Kits will be sold for $15 each.

Participants must preregister by 1 p.m. Friday, Feb. 22.
