GOSHEN — The Goshen College women’s basketball team made sure senior day was memorable.

The Maple Leafs broke a 40-game Crossroads League losing streak and a 13-game losing streak this season on Saturday by beating Spring Arbor, 78-69, behind career games by senior Paige Davis and freshman Liz Tecca.

Davis hit four 3-pointers in the first four minutes of the game and finished with 20 points — breaking her previous career best of 14. She also had three assists and two steals.

Meanwhile, Tecca scored 16 of her game-high 27 points in the second half, which included a 10-12 performance from the free throw line. Senior Sam Hawk added 13 points and seven assists for the Maple Leafs.
