ELKHART — Central’s Azariah Stahl is among 150 high school players nationwide to be named an All-American for 2012 by prepvolleyball.com.

Stahl, a junior, was one of five players tabbed from Indiana. In 2011, she was an honorable mention pick as a sophomore.

The Purdue recruit recently received an invitation from USA Volleyball to compete for a repeat spot on the 2013 Women’s Junior National Team. She plans to participate in those tryouts Feb. 22-24 in Colorado Springs, Colo.

Last summer, Stahl was on the 12-member 2012 squad that earned a spot in the FIVB World Championships, to be contested June 21-30 in the Czech Republic by the 2013 selections.
