ELKHART — Shirley J. Shreiner, 75, of Elkhart, died Monday, Feb. 4, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.

Shirley was born Jan. 16, 1938, in Morrilton, Ark., to Clyde E. and Ginny (Harrison) Holyfield.

On Dec. 29, 1978, Shirley married Steve Shreiner.

He survives along with sons, John Almont “Al” Jr. (Donna) Pierce of Mooresville and Blake Pierce of Elkhart; grandsons Al, Stevie, Brandon and Alex; a great-grandson, Noah; a brother, James “Sonny” Holyfield of Morrilton, Ark.; and sisters Judy (Jim) Roberson of Morrilton and Rhonda (Rick) Blackwood of Atlanta, Texas.

Shirley worked in the deli at Martin’s Super Market on Jackson Street for more than 15 years.

Friends may call for two hours prior to the 11 a.m. memorial service Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013, at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home. Her son, Al, will officiate.
