GOSHEN — Gaby Romo, a Goshen High School senior, has signed to continue her academic and soccer careers at Indiana Purdue-Fort Wayne.
She will earn an athletic scholarship with the NCAA Division I program.
Romo, a midfielder/forward, was a four-time letterwinner, three-time captain and all-Northern Lakes Conference performer and two-time team MVP and academic all-stater (2011, 2011) for Goshen coach Dan Graber’s Redskins.
As a junior, Romo helped Goshen win a sectional championship.
IPFW, coached by Margaret Saurin, is coming off a 2012 season in which the Mastodons went 10-8-1 overall and 5-2-1 in the Summit League.
