Purdue Extension offers asset transition classes for farm women in Elkhart County
The program, titled “Managing for Today and Tomorrow” will run from 6 to 9 p.m. Tuesdays from Feb. 25 till March 26 at the Nappanee Public Library, 157 N. Main St.
Area professionals and Purdue Extension educators will offer advice on business, estate, retirement and succession planning for farms. Time will be allotted for discussion and follow-up activities.
The program costs $50 per person. Each additional person from the same farm may join the program at a reduced rate of $25 per person. The cost includes a 300-page workbook.
Registration is required by Feb. 15 due to size limitations.
The Purdue Extension of Elkhart, Kosciusko, Marshall and St. Joseph counties is sponsoring the program.
Annie’s Project is a program for women that is dedicated to risk management education.
