GOSHEN — Larry Lewis Lower, 68, Goshen, died at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, at Elkhart Hospice House.

He was born Feb. 27, 1944, in Goshen to Allen A. and Marie Belle (Stump) Lower. He married Mary J. (Ross) Lower on Nov. 27, 1984.

Surviving are his wife, Mary; sons James Lower of Mississippi and Larry Eldon Lower of Goshen; and sisters Lula Belle (Wayne) Hartman of Goshen and Donna (Steve) Ellis of Goshen.

Preceding him in death were his parents and a brother, Allen Lower.

Larry was a veteran, serving in the U.S. Army. He worked at Johnson Controls and was a member of the New Paris Church of the Nazarene.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen, where the service will follow at 1 p.m. Chaplain Larry A. Rice will officiate and burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America.
