SOUTH BEND - The “Michiana Monologues,” inspired by “The Vagina Monologues,” will be performed this month with the music duo The Bergamot opening for two of the shows.

“Michiana Monologues” bring to voice the experiences of women in the community who anonymously submitted their stories for a stage production.

The Elkhart County Women’s Shelter is one of this year’s benefactors.

Shows are at 7 p.m. Feb. 15 and 16 at the Northside Recital Hall on the IU South Bend Campus. There will be a silent auction before the show. Tickets are $10 and can be purchased through the Arts Box Office at 520-4203 or at arts.iusb.edu. There will also be a performance at 7 p.m. Feb. 21 at Rieth Recital Hall, Goshen College Music Center, 1700 S. Main St., Goshen. Tickets are $10 and $5 for students.

The Bergamot will open for the Feb. 16 and 21 performances.
