Wrestling

Memorial elementary camp/Charger Wrestling Club: The EMHS Chargers Elementary Wrestling Camp for grades K-6 is scheduled for March 4, 5, 6, 11, 12 and 13 in the Memorial High School wrestling room. Intrasquad duals are 6:30 p.m. at Memorial. Registration is 6 to 7 p.m. on Feb. 6 and Feb. 21 at the West Gym entrance to Memorial. Cost is $30 per camper. Charger Wrestling Club, ran by the Memorial coaching staff, will offer folkstyle, freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestling for age 4 through high school. There will be an open room on Tuesdays and Thursdays (times to be determined), beginning March 19. Baseball

Elkhart Titans 11U: The Elkhart Titans will hold tryouts for their 11U team from 8 to 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, Feb. 9 (this a change from a previously published date) at RBI’s Unlimited, 2017 West Sixth St., Mishawaka. Only serious ballplayers should attend. Minimal travel is required during the season. For more information, call John at 574-596-2537.

Baseball

Northern Indiana Cardinals 10U: The Northern Indiana Cardinals have a few roster spots available for the 2013 travel baseball season. Any child who will be 10 or under on May 1, 2013 is eligible to try out. Tryouts are available on Feb. 9, 16 and 23. For locations and times, call Bob at 574-850-9579 or 574-213-4721.

Mother’s Day Wood Bat Classic: The American Baseball Youth Association (ABYA) and CCAC in Warsaw are now accepting registrations for 11U-14U event slated for May 10-12. Go to www.playabya.com or contact Brian at brian@playabya.com

Northern Indiana Adult Baseball League, South Bend Semi-Pro Baseball League meetings: Organizational meetings for 2013 are scheduled for 1 p.m. on the following Saturdays — Feb. 16 and March 23 — at St. Joseph County Library, downtown South Bend. The NABL plays on weekends mid-April through Labor Day. The SBSPBL runs from early June to August to fit the needs of those in college. All managers are welcome to attend. Basketball

EBA Saturday camps: Eastlake Basketball Academy Saturday morning camps are ongoing. Grades K-3 meet from 10 to 11 a.m., grades 4-6 from 11 a.m. to noon, and grades 7 and up from noon to 1 p.m. For more information, contact Matt Kitson at 574-529-0660 or matt@ebabasketball.com.

Volleyball

Penn spring camp: Penn High School’s spring volleyball clinic for girls in grades 6-8 is 3 to 6 p.m. on each Saturday in March — 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 — in the main arena at PHS. Cost is $100. Football

Eastlake QB/receiver camp: Session II of the Eastlake Elite youth quarterback and receiving camp is planned for eight Sundays beginning Feb. 3 (and skipping March 3). Evan Sharpley is the QB instructor and Marcus Perez the receivers instructor. Cost is $150 for quarterbacks and $75 for receivers. For more informatin, call Eastlake at 574-264-0611.

Road Runs

Sunburst Races: Registration is now open for the 30th annual Sunburst Races May 31 (family fun walk) and June 1 (marathon, half marathon, 10K run, 5K run, 5K fitness walk). Notre Dame Stadium is the finish line for the races. To register online, go to www.sunburstraces.org.
