CASSOPOLIS, Mich. — Midwest Energy Cooperative has introduced the Strengthening Schools Grant Program, to make grants of up to $2,500 available to public schools across its service territory for academic/classroom needs and special projects, technology or specific support for academic clubs and organizations.

The grant program is a a collaborative effort between Midwest Energy Cooperative and Touchstone energy.

Any teacher, administrator or school official in a public elementary, middle or high school serving children in the service territory may apply. Each district will be limited to two grant awards per calendar year, and funds are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.

Applications are due by the first of each month and will be reviewed by the 15th of the same month.

Edwardsburg, Cassopolis, White Pigeon and Constantine are among the 32 school eligible for the program.
