Notre Dame kicks off ethics week Monday

NOTRE DAME — The University of Notre Dame’s Ethics Week begins Monday, Feb. 4 and features several guest speakers throughout the week.

The guest speaking series is called “Governing for the Greater Good: Politics as Public Service.” Each session is from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. in the Giovanini Commons in the Mendoza College of Business and the speakers will focus on politics.

The schedule of speakers is as follows:

• Monday: John Sturm, Associate Vice President, Federal and Washington Relations, University of Notre Dame

• Tuesday: Pete Buttigieg, Mayor of South Bend

• Wednesday: Panel Discussion featuring Joe Zakas, Indiana State Senator; Andy Kostielney, St. Joseph County Commissioner; Jamie O’Brien, St. Joseph County Councilman

• Thursday: Jack Colwell, South Bend Tribune political columnist

Every session is free and open to the public.
