CROMWELL — Lester R. Miller, 84, of Cromwell, died Saturday, Jan. 26, at Parkview Regional Medical Center.
He was born June 30, 1928, to the late Amandus and Lydia (Yoder) Miller in LaGrange. He married Sharon J. Nichols on Aug. 25, 1974, in Elkhart.
He was a retired truck driver and delivered motor homes for Quality Drive-Away in Goshen.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon of Cromwell; son Kevin (Erin) Miller of Goshen; stepsons Jeff (Liz) Grosenbacher of Westfield and Mark (Ashley) Grosenbacher of Elkhart; and seven grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, LeRoy, Chris and Richard Miller; and grandson Shane Grosenbacher.
He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, flying planes as a pilot and spending time with his grandkids.
Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29, at Waterman Westbrook Clouse Funeral Home, where there will be an 11 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, funeral service. Mr. Kenneth Farmer will officiate. Burial will be in Elkhart Prairie Cemetery, Goshen, with military graveside honors.
