One arrested, police searching for second ‘person of interest’ in Chiphone Credit Union robbery

Christopher Coleman, 27, of Elkhart, was arrested on a preliminary charge of robbery with a deadly weapon, a B felony. His bond is set at $75,000.
Police are also searching for Shawn Marks, a 26-year-old Elkhart man, in connection to the robbery. He is described as a black male six feet six inches tall and weighing 230 pounds.
Anyone with information about Marks may call Sgt. Jim Buchmann or Detective Mark Daggy at 295-7070.
Police are also investigating if the robbery at Chiphone Credit Union is connected to a robbery on Dec. 13, 2012.
