Supporters of Elkhart police officer diagnosed with cancer shave their heads

ELKHART — About 40 coworkers and friends of Elkhart Police Department Sgt. Scott Hupp had their heads shaved to show their support Friday morning at the Fraternal Order of Police, Elkhart Lodge 52. Hupp was recently diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma, a form of cancer that is commonly pediatric and rarely found in adults. Members of the FOP will hold a benefit with the purpose of raising money for the Hupp family from 2 to 11 p.m. today at 1003 Industrial Parkway, Elkhart.
