DUNLAP — Fourth-ranked Northridge and emerging power Warsaw dominated the preliminary round of the Northern Lakes Conference boys swim meet on Thursday night.

Northridge won the three relay events and four individual races, while Warsaw swimmers won three events. Only Wawasee’s Zac Hershberger, who claimed the 100 freestyle, broke through the logjam at the top.

Winning for Northridge were Seth Cripe in the 200 free, Jonathan Stoller in the 200 IM, Austin Flagger in the 50 free and Seth Cripe in the 500 free. The Raiders’ 200 medley relay, 200 free relay and 400 free relay all posted wins.

Northridge was especially strong early in the meet, going 1-2 in the 200 free and 200 IM and 1-3 in the 50 free.

The finals will be held at Concord beginning with diving prelminaries at 9 a.m. Saturday. Final swimming and diving events begin at 1 p.m.
