GOSHEN — David Wayne Cotherman, 52, of Goshen, passed away at 8:50 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Elkhart General Hospital.

He was born Feb. 14, 1960, in Goshen to James A. and Mary Jo (Smith) Cotherman.

David is survived by his mother, Mary Jo Cotherman of Goshen; two sisters, Deborah L. Cotherman of Augusta, Ga. and Cheryl A. Cotherman of Fitzgerald, Ga.; a brother, James A. Cotherman II of Morganton, N.C.; and seven aunts and uncles.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Terri Jo, and his father, James A. Cotherman.

A private family graveside service will be at a later date.

David worked as a bartender at Double D’s in Goshen and was an avid sports enthusiast who loved the Minnesota Vikings.

Memorial donations may be given to United Cancer Services of Elkhart County or a charity of the donor’s choice.

Elkhart Cremation Services has been entrusted with the arrangements.
