ELKHART — Mary Margaret Bradshaw, 87, died at 9:50 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, at her daughter’s home.

Mary was born on July 2, 1925, to Thomas and Doretta (Magerhaus) Torrance in Goshen.

She married Oscar Hoyt Bradshaw in 1951. He preceded her in death in 1978.

She is survived by her sons, Charles (Carol) Bradshaw of Texas and Dale (Kathy) Bradshaw of Mishawaka; daughters Darlene (Dean) Widup of Osceola and Mary Jo (Gary) Weryrick of Elkhart; 16 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Jean; six brothers; and one sister.

Mary worked in the cafeteria at Elkhart Central High School. She was a retired waitress from Moose Lodge, where she worked for many years.

She was a member of the Women of the Moose, D.A.V. Auxiliary and loved to play bingo. In her younger years, she loved to dance and was an avid bowler.

Friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Hartzler-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home, where the Women of the Moose will perform a memorial service at 2 p.m. followed by a memorial service with the Rev. Jeff Truex officiating. Burial will be in Rice Cemetery at a later date.
