Key action: Approved expanding the Elroy Drive Industrial Park tax increment finance district. The TIF district expansion will help the town improve water quality and pressure to the Jayco campus by looping the water lines. Revenues from the TIF district could also be used to make other water and waste water improvements in the future.
Other actions:
• Approved the 2012 redevelopment commission annual report to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance. The commission had no expenditures during 2012. The Elroy Drive Industrial Park TIF allocation fund ended the year with $58,917.04.
• Heard that focus groups are meeting with consultants, Heiden Creative of Plymouth, to develop branding and marketing for the town. The consultants will come up with a plan to help the town present a consistent message.
