Robbers take cash, cigarettes in second Friday robbery
At 6:50 p.m. two white males entered Low Bob’s, 51523 S.R. 19., brandishing a “hatchet type weapon,” ordered employees to the ground and took an undisclosed amount of cash, several cartons of cigarettes and other items.
A white female stood at the door during the incident and left with the men.
Both male suspects are described as 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing between 160 and 170 pounds. One was wearing a camouflage hoodie and jeans while the other wore jeans and a red jacket with “Indiana” written on it in white letters.
The female is described as “heavy set” and was wearing a dark jacket with fur-lined hood and a cream-colored scarf covering her face.
The first robbery Friday occurred around 2:15 p.m. at Elkhart Cigarette Outlet, 51505 S.R. 19.
