GOSHEN — The Bethel College women’s basketball team hit 11 3-pointers — nine in the first half — and went on to defeat Goshen 80-65 in Crossroads League action on Wednesday.

Laura Johnson scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Pilots, while Katy Stuppy had 16 and Georgia Boisse 15. Boisse also had eight rebounds.

Fairfield graduate Jamie Stack scored a season-high 18 to pace Goshen, while freshman Liz Tecca added 15. The Maple Leafs outshot and outrebounded Bethel, but 26 turnovers were too much to overcome.

Bethel, ranked No. 15 in NAIA Division II, is now 19-4 and 9-2 in the conference. Goshen falls to 2-21 and 0-11.
