GOSHEN — Charles Leonard Miller, 88, of Goshen, died at 12:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, 2013, at Courtyard Healthcare.

He was born Dec. 4, 1924, in Wakarusa to Daniel W. and Mary (Strong) Miller Stroup. He married Norma R. Juday on May 8, 1949, in Benton. She died Dec. 3, 2012.

Surviving are children Carol J. (Norman) Goff and Elizabeth “Liz” C. (David) Silcox, both of Goshen, Leonard R. (Imelda) Miller of Goshen, Herman E. (Linda) Miller of Syracuse and Charles D. Miller of Goshen; brother Russell (Frances) Miller of Florida; 10 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and nine great-great-grandchildren.

Preceding him in death were his daughter, Gloria Miller and siblings Clyde Miller, Maxine Miller and Frances McBride.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, and the funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 24, 2013, all at Rieth-Rohrer-Ehret Funeral Home, 311 S. Main St., Goshen. Pastor Jim Hostetler and grandson Rodney Silcox will officiate. Burial will be in Solomon Creek Cemetery.
