Man taken to hospital after minor crash at intersection of U.S. 6 and C.R. 29

MILLERSBURG — One man was injured in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of U.S. 6 and C.R. 29, southwest of Millersburg, Monday afternoon.

According to a release from the Elkhart County Sheriff’s Department, Betty Spore, 55, of Syracuse, was driving east on U.S. 6 and preparing to turn north onto C.R. 29.

Spore’s SUV was then hit from behind by a semi trailer driven by Michael Stiltner, 46, of Byran, Ohio, but according to the release, the vehicles only sustained minor damage.

Stiltner and Spore were uninjured. A passenger in Spore’s vehicle, William Spore, 31, of Argos, was taken to the hospital complaining of neck pain from his seatbelt.
