BRISTOL — Inell E. Odom, 85, of Bristol, died at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, at Elkhart General Hospital.

She was born Dec. 28, 1927, to the late Robert Edward and Mattie Elizabeth (Burgess) Sherer in Jasper, Ala.

On Feb. 8, 1945, she married MC Odom in Jasper. He died Oct. 30, 2008.

Surviving are three daughters, Sarah (Richard) Neff of Middlebury, Sandy Draime of Bristol and Shirley (Ken) Booth of Bristol; and siblings Frances (Lamar) Rink of Three Rivers, Mich., Faye Snyder of White Pigeon, Mich., Geraldine (Kenneth) Garn of Marcellus, Mich. and Charles Wayne (Carol) Sherer of Plano, Texas.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James Edward Sherer and Curtis Clayton Sherer.

Visitation is from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 20, at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home, 1003 S. Main St., Middlebury. Funeral services are at 10 a.m. Monday, Jan. 21, also at Miller-Stewart Funeral Home.

Burial is in Mottville Cemetery, Mottville, Mich.

Memorials may be given to Center for Hospice and Palliative Care.
