Elkhart County area will feel big chill Sunday

The coldest air of the season is expected to arrive beginning Sunday and will coincide with a chance of snow through Tuesday.

Temperatures will begin to plummet Sunday and reach a low of about 11 degrees by Sunday night.

The National Weather Service predicts up to 1 or 2 inches of snow could fall overnight.

On Monday, highs will reach about 15. Winds could gust to 25 mph and another inch or two of snow is predicted. Lows Monday night will be around 5.

Another chance of snow showers exists Tuesday. Highs will be near 11. The low Tuesday night will be in the single digits, according to the weather service.
