Cause of Tuesday fire on C.R. 45 still undetermined
Firefighters from Concord and Harrison townships responded to a fire at 22468 C.R. 45 just before 6 p.m. Tuesday.
According to Concord Deputy Fire Chief David Miller, “There’s no rhyme or reason for (the fire).”
Miller said the fire began in a window frame, but that investigators did not find any burnt wires to indicate that they caused the fire.
He added that there was some smoke damage in the home, but the majority of the damage occurred when firefighters cleared much of the northwest wall of the home searching for a cause.
Investigators do not believe foul play to be involved.
