GOSHEN — The Midwinter Lecture Series at the LifeLong Learning Institute of Elkhart County kicks off at the end of January and features six free lectures through the end of February.

The lectures begin at 1:30 p.m. and run for an hour. There will be a time for questions and answers at the end.

No registration is required. The schedule is below.

• Wednesday, Feb. 20 - Growing a Business in an Amish Community, Tom and Morag Miller

• Wednesday, Feb. 27 - Cultural Encounters from Masontown to Kathmandu, Edgar Metzler
