KENDALLVILLE — Noble County Council president and prominent Kendallville businessman Donald Allen Moore, 60, died at 8:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 13, 2013, at Parkview Regional Medical Center, Fort Wayne, after suffering a heart attack and a fall at his home late Saturday night.
He was president and general manager of radio stations WAWK 1140 AM and 95.5 FM “The Hawk.”
Survivors include his wife, Cindy Moore of Kendallville; son Don Jr. (Leah) Moore of Kendallville; daughter Diana Renee Moore of Fresno, Calif.; stepson Joe Buckey of Elkhart; brothers Ronald Moore of Elkhart and Gerald Moore of Alabama; and sister Vickie Moore of Elkhart.
Visitation for Don will be from noon to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, 2013, at Hite Funeral Home, 403 S. Main St., Kendallville. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Jan. 18, 2013, at Kendallville Event Center, 615 Professional Way, with burial in Lake View Cemetery in Kendallville.
Preferred memorials may be made to the Noble County Humane Society or Kendallville Fireworks. Checks may be made payable to the City of Kendallville with “Fireworks Fund” in the memo.
