Cass County Council on Aging hosting internet genealogy course in Cassopolis

CASSOPOLIS, Mich. — The Cass County Council on Aging will host an internet genealogy class from 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 23 at COA Lowe Center, 60525 Decatur Road.

Tim Wiggins of the Cass District Library will teach the basics of tracing personal heritage on the internet, including what to look for, how to choose which sites to use and ways to verify information. Students will be able to use computers in class and are encouraged to bring names of known ancestors and other information to start the search. No previous computer experience is necessary.
