GOSHEN — Elkhart and Goshen residents who get around using Heart City Rider and Goshen Transit Service will have a couple of new phone numbers to call for rides at the end of this month.

Yellow Cab will begin operating the two transportation services on Jan. 25. Elkhart residents can call 294-4040 to arrange for a ride, and Goshen residents can call 534-0026.

The contract between Ace Cab, the current operator, and the Michiana Area Council of Governments expires at the end of January. Ace Cab, along with Yellow Cab, will continue to provide rides until Jan. 31. Rides can be arranged through Ace Cab by calling 295-6886.

Heart City Rider and Goshen Transit Service operate 24 hours a day, seven days a week with fares based on mileage. For more information and a service area map, visit www.macog.com.
