ELKHART — Alonzo Craft Jr., 82, of Elkhart died at his residence at 8:31 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013.

Alonzo was born Oct. 13, 1930, in Cayuga to Alonzo Sr. and Muriel V. (Greenwalt) Craft.

He is survived by two sons, Barton (Deborah) Craft and Brad Craft, both of Elkhart; a stepson, Rick (Lori) Ettline of Elkhart; two stepdaughters, Terry Ettline and Penny (Doug) Samuels, both of Elkhart; one grandchild; five stepgrandchildren; and six great-stepgrandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Harold Craft.

Alonzo was a member of Elks Lodge 425, avid sports fan and loved to play cards. He was the CEO/president of Travelcraft RV Co. from 1972 to 1994. Alonzo was a real estate investor; he donated the bank building to the city of Elkhart.

There will be no visitation or service per Mr. Craft’s wishes. Hartlzer-Gutermuth-Inman Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be given to donor’s choice.
