Bethel hosting informational meeting for transition to teaching program

MISHAWAKA — Bethel College is hosting an informational night on Tuesday, Jan. 15 for anyone interested in their transition to teaching program.

The meeting is at 5:30 p.m. in the Everest-Rohrer Chapel/Fine Arts Center Rotunda.

The 12-month program is offered for individuals who want to pursue a career in education who have a bachelor’s degree in a different field. Classes usually are from 6 to 10 p.m. and begin at end of April. There is a field work requirement in the fall semester in addition to evening classes. In the spring semester, there is a 15-week full-time student teaching requirement in addition to evening classes.
